JPIA Night: A Story, Las Vegas

I can't deny the excitement that I was feeling the moment we were called for a meeting regarding this year's JPIA Night. I even voted for the "Gods and Goddesses" as our theme f1or the event and dress like the mighty Zues or the ever lovely Athena. However, my choice didn't win during the division of the house. The "Las Vegas " theme won instead.  But it's okay.  LAS Vegas was next in my list anyway.

But what? excites of more was the fact that my boyfriend is coming to the party.  Yeah.  It was a miracle for him to come.  For the record, this was also the first party that he managed to attend. The last two years were the boring years if  you would ask me. His won't let him attend for some reasons that we truly understand.

Finding a dress was tougher than I thought. We needed to follow the dress code which is "Red. Blue.  Gold. Silver. " And everyone's encouraged to pick those glittery ones. I've been to different malls to look for a beautiful dress but I want it to be simple and not so eye-catching. But looking for dresses at the mall isn't a very wise idea since there is that possibility that you'll have instant twins during he party...if  you know hat I mean.

So I chose to look for a dress at small shops and luckily,  I found this book glittery blue dress which I believed would be best to wear at night. And I can't afford to lose it.  So bought it right away.  And poof! Dress solved--shining, shimmering,  and splendid. I'm ready for Vegas...

I also happened to participate in a dance competition that night and days before the exact night  were spent rehearsing our dance steps.  I admit hat my dance mix was an obvious-amateur mix and I was not really prove of it. Well,  you'll see I'll be home with that next time.

After the final practice during the morning, I had a last minute shopping at SM Mall for some party essentials with Precy. We were really tired because of the practice but I still have to buy a brand new Red Lipstick,  yeah,  I was planning on having a full red lips that night and I did. Thanks to Maybeline New York.

I had a quality nap when I got home -- a last minute beauty rest will do--well,  it really has to.  I set my alarms.  I'm afraid I'll wake up so late.  They said 4pm would be the start of the attendance but everyone knows I'm not that obedient when it comes to coming on time.

But it was really not my plan to wake up part two thirty in the afternoon.  I should have awaken earlier for the long preparations for everything.  I had a mini panic during the moment.  I didn't know what to do. I didn't even know what to do with my hair.  Shall I curl my hair or the straighter version? Or the Pop Up one?

I chose the pop up one at first and with the help of my sister it looked book and cute.  However,  the problem here

My Sweet Boyfriend

Exams are finally over that means time for us to have some fun even just a little.

Now it's a real coincidence that the final day of exam happened to be our  5th monthsary date, too.  So after the exams,  I went home and changed clothes and prepared for our date. Then something came up.  I felt like I'm running out of pants.  I know it sounds untrue and it really was.  I just wanted something new that very time.

So I opened my closet and checked for the "Im-not-using-anymore " section.  There I say an old white pants which I remember wearing them way back early high school.  I really like that pants.  It's an original DKNY pants from Saudi Arabia, from my mom. The reason why I stopped wearing it because of the fact that there's a tattered part on one of its pockets.

I looked around.  I saw my pink scissors,  grabbed it bog transform my parts into shorts with folded parts on both ends of its legs which looked typically the same like those normal shorts that can be bought in the malls.

There,  I'm  ready to in with my new shorts just right above my knees.

Then we met at our favorite mall.  I didn't tell him my exact location and the fact that I already say him standing.  I was actually planning on surprising him from behind. So took a long cut - just enough for him not to notice me.

Silently,  I tiptoed towards  him. He was using his cellphone at the moment and I was wishing that he should not throw it in case he'll really surprised.

Then I instantly covered his eyes with my hands. Them he held them.  He turned around and our eyes met.  Gosh!  I can't believe I miss him.

Then  greetings followed. I didn't notice that he actually brought something.  And it's inside a blue huge paper bag with glittery butterfly design.  It looked cute and inviting.  I assumed it was for me.  Who else?  Right?

And I asked him what the bag was for.  Then he said it's a gift for me. My heart was dancing with joy. I stared at the bag.  On my mind was it's too big for a month gift.

Then he revealed that it's actually an early birthday gift and a Valentine's gift,  too. Or we can include this month's gift as well. I immediately said thank you. Who would expect such thing?

He asked of to open it.  I actually wanted to open it at home but he insisted on opening it that very moment.  So I did.

I opened the bag.  I saw I Cherry Mobile bag inside and a Cherry a box too.  A cellphone immediately entered my mind. Then I shook my head.  How stupid of of to think it was a cellphone.  Why would he give of such thing.  Then I remember him mentioning that his brother got a new cellphone.  There,  I said,  "oh,  this must be his brother's cellphone case ". Then I really had a hard time opening it because of the magic tape on each of the four sides of the box.

He asked me  to ed careful in opening the box. I asked what it was.  I even joked about receiving another digital watch for the third time. And we laughed.  During my last birthday,  he gave me a Pink digital watch and last Christmas he also gave me another digital watch only Apple Green in color and a much smaller one.

Finally,  I was able to open the  any already.  I was shocked when I say that it's actually the cellphone that I was planning to buy.  And he bought for of instead. How cool is that?

I told him that he's making of spoiled by doing things like this.  He said he wants of to get spoiled.

My heart was filled with gratitude and love.  I feel so special.

All I can say is "thank you so much..". It's really a cool gift.

Happy nineteenth birthday to me!
